Srisailam Karikala Satram was established by members of the Karikala community for exactly that reason. Devotees arriving at Srisailam — often after a long overnight journey, often with elderly parents and small children — needed somewhere clean, safe and genuinely affordable to stay within walking distance of the temple.

What "luxury facilities" means here

Our tagline promises luxury facilities at highly affordable rates, and we mean something specific by it. We are not promising marble lobbies. We are promising that the ordinary things actually work:

• Hot water around the clock, not for two hours in the morning.
• Fresh bedding issued for every stay, not reused between guests.
• Cleaned bathrooms, checked twice a day.
• A lift, so an eighty-year-old does not climb three floors after darshan.
• A night watchman and lockers, so you can leave your bags and go.
• A desk that is staffed at 3 AM, because that is when the buses arrive.

Who we serve

The Satram is open to all devotees visiting Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, regardless of community. Members of the Karikala community are eligible for concessional tariffs; please mention your membership at the time of booking.
